. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Pitching eight strong innings and driving in two runs, Tommy Boggs led the Braves to a 10-1 triumph over the Reds. The Braves tallied in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Bob Horner and upped their lead to 2-0 in the sixth on a run-scoring single by Claudell Washington. Boggs delivered RBI singles in the seventh and ninth, when a seven-run outburst was climaxed by a three-run homer by Horner. [The Sporting News]
