Erasing an early 4-0 deficit, the Red Sox overcame the Orioles, 7-5, with a three-run rally in the eighth inning. Dennis Eckersley, rapped for five runs and six hits in the first three innings, allowed just three hits thereafter to complete the route and be the winner.
