. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run homer by Willie Randolph snapped a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning, carrying the Yankees to a 4-1 victory over the Tigers as Tommy John went the route on a six-hitter. Randolph's blow came with two out after walks to Graig Nettles and Bucky Dent. Barry Foote homered in the third inning in his first at-bat as a Yankee. [The Sporting News]
