Solo homers by Tony Armas, Rob Picciolo, Rickey Henderson and Cliff Johnson helped A's starter Matt Keough remain undefeated and led Oakland to their second straight victory over the Yankees, 6-3. Armas' eighth homer of the season gave the A's a 1-0 lead in the second and the Yanks' Dave Winfield tied it with an RBI single in the third before the A's scored three in the bottom of the inning on successive homers by Picciolo and Henderson and Tim Hosley's run-scoring single.
