. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The White Sox blanked the Indians, 6-0, behind the five-hit hurling of Richard Dotson, ending Chicago's four-game losing skein. The Sox grabbed a 1-0 lead in the second inning on a run-scoring single by Jim Morrison and picked up another marker in the fourth frame on an RBI single by Ron LeFlore. Chet Lemon and Tony Bernazard stroked run-scoring singles in the fifth, and a sacrifice fly by Mike Squires and RBI double by Carlton Fisk completed the scoring in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
