Snapping their 19-game losing streak at Memorial Stadium, the Blue Jays prevailed over the Orioles, 4-2. The Jays broke a 2-2 tie when Willie Upshaw led off the eighth inning with a homer, and added another run later in that frame on a single by John Mayberry, a sacrifice, and an RBI infield single by George Bell.
