Richard Dotson tossed a five-hitter for his second consecutive shutout as the White Sox triumphed over the Royals, 3-0. The Sox scored in the second inning when Harold Baines drew a two-out walk, stole second and came home on a single by Jim Morrison. They tallied twice in the fourth frame on a walk to Wayne Nordhagen, run-scoring triple by Baines and sacrifice fly by Morrison. [The Sporting News]
