A homer by Jorge Orta in the top of the 16th inning enabled the Indians to outlast the White Sox, 4-3. Orta's blast came on a 1-0 pitch leading off the 16th and broke a 3-3 deadlock that had existed since the sixth stanza when the Sox knotted the count on an RBI infield grounder by Mike Squires.
