Jerry Narron, who had driven in only four runs in Seattle's first 36 games, knocked in three as the Mariners downed the Indians, 6-3. After spotting the Tribe a 2-0 lead, the Mariners tied the score in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Dave Henderson and infield out by Narron, and went in front in the third on singles by Dave Edler, Bruce Bochte and Jeff Burroughs.
