Jim Bibby smacked a two-run homer and combined with Victor Cruz on an eight-hitter to lead the Pirates to a 7-1 triumph over the Phillies. Bibby's round-tripper came with two out in the fifth and Phil Garner aboard via a base on balls. The Bucs iced the game with five runs in the eighth on a triple by Garner, single by Dale Berra, two-run single by Omar Moreno and two-run double by Bill Madlock. [The Sporting News]
