Combined four-hit pitching by Vida Blue and Al Holland carried the Giants to a 3-1 triumph over the Astros. The score was 1-1 going into the bottom of the eighth inning when Dave Bergman drew a leadoff walk and moved to second on a sacrifice by Bill North.
