. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run homer by John Mayberry and a solo shot by Lloyd Moseby in the eighth inning powered the Blue Jays to a 6-5 triumph over the A's. With Toronto trailing, 5-2, and two out in the bottom of the eighth, Mayberry drilled his ninth round-tripper of the season to score Damaso Garcia, on via a fielder's choice, and Barry Bonnell, who had reached second on an error by second baseman Keith Drumright. After Mayberry's swat, Moseby followed with his circuit clout. [The Sporting News]
