Larry Christenson and Mike Proly combined on a five-hitter as the Phillies blanked the Braves, 3-0. The Phils took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Christenson before clinching the verdict with two runs in the seventh when Bob Boone drew a one-out walk off reliever John Montefusco and pinch-hitter George Vukovich followed with a homer.
