The White Sox dealt the Blue Jays their eighth straight loss, 6-2, as Dennis Lamp, making his first start after 12 relief appearances, went 8 2/3 innings to receive credit for the victory. The Pale Hose tallied four times in the second frame on two-run singles by Bill Almon and Greg Luzinski.
