Raines singled in the first inning, stole second, went to third on a sacrifice bunt by Rodney Scott and scored on a sacrifice fly by Andre Dawson. The Expos sent 11 men to the plate while scoring seven runs in the second inning with a two-run triple by Raines being the key blow. Raines also delivered a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
