Completing the three-game series sweep, the Angels edged the Indians, 4-3. California loaded the bases in the first inning on a single by Rod Carew and a pair of two-out walks. Don Baylor then singled home two runs. Rick Burleson was hit by a pitch in the third frame and tallied on a double by Fred Lynn. Baylor drilled a solo homer in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
