A pair of homers by George Hendrick highlighted the Cardinals' 11-3 rout of the Phillies. The Cards were behind, 3-2, in the fifth inning when Keith Hernandez walked, took third on a single by Dane Iorg and scored on a sacrifice fly by Ken Oberkfell.

Iorg, who moved up on a walk, tallied on a single by Orlando Sanchez. Hendrick cracked a two-run homer in the seventh and Hernandez and Hendrick homered back-to-back to trigger a five-run ninth. [The Sporting News]
