Milwaukee tallied six runs in the fifth inning of the first game on an RBI double by Robin Yount, two-run single by Jim Gantner, a throwing error by Jays first baseman Greg Wells and a two-run double by Roy Howell.

The only runs of the second game came in the fourth inning when Cecil Cooper stroked a two-out single and Ben Oglivie followed with a home run. Rollie Fingers recorded a save in both games to raise his season's total to 15. [The Sporting News]
