Ron Cey collected four hits including a solo homer to pace the Dodgers to a 6-1 decision over the Cubs. Cey's circuit clout came in the fourth inning for the first run of the game. Los Angeles picked up a pair of markers in the fifth on an error by Chicago left fielder Ken Henderson and an RBI single by Ken Landreaux, and iced the game with three runs in the seventh on run-scoring singles by Steve Garvey, Cey and Mike Scioscia.
