Lenn Sakata blasted a grand slam to climax a six-run seventh inning that rallied the Orioles to an 8-4 victory over the A's. Dennis Martinez, although giving up 12 hits, won his 11th decision of the season. The Birds trailed, 4-2 in the seventh, when Jose Morales tied the game with a bases-loaded two-run pinch-double. After Doug DeCinces was hit by a pitch to reload the sacks, Sakata delivered his round-tripper. [The Sporting News]
