A two-run pinch-single by Reggie Smith capped a three-run rally in the seventh inning that enabled to Dodgers to edge the Braves, 3-2. Trailing, 2-0, the Dodgers loaded the bases with two out in the seventh on a single by Dusty Baker and walks to Pedro Guerrero and Mike Scioscia. A single by Derrel Thomas drove in Baker, and Smith followed with his single, scoring Guerrero and Scioscia. [The Sporting News]
