. . . where the 1970s live forever!
The Blue Jays dealt the Angels their 12th loss in the last 13 games, winning 5-1 as Jackson Todd pitched five scoreless innings of two-hit relief. The Jays broke a 1-1 tie in the third inning when John Mayberry doubled, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on a forceout by Lloyd Moseby. Toronto broke the game open in the seventh on a two-run triple by Otto Velez and an RBI infield hit by Moseby. [The Sporting News]
