. . . where the 1970s live forever!
The Angels snapped their six-game losing streak with a 6-3 triumph over the White Sox. California took a 2-0 lead in the second on a two-run single by Joe Ferguson, and a pair of Sox errors helped California to two more runs in the fourth. The Angels closed out the scoring in the eighth on a solo homer by Don Baylor and run-scoring single by Bert Campaneris. [The Sporting News]
