A three-run outburst, aided by two errors, in the ninth inning lifted the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the Braves. The Dodgers trailed, 3-2, when Mike Marshall began the ninth by reaching second on a throwing error by shortstop Paul Runge. He moved to third on a groundout and scored on a single by Rick Monday. One out later, Jack Perconte lashed a tie-breaking triple and scored when Runge committed his second error of the inning on a gruonder by Steve Sax. [The Sporting News]
