The unbeaten Braves ran their victory streak to six, turning back the Reds, 6-1. Bob Horner drilled a solo homer in the second inning and Atlanta broke the game open with a four-run seventh on a leadoff homer by Chris Chambliss, triple by Rafael Ramirez, Bob Walk's single and a sacrifice fly by Claudell Washington.
