A three-run homer by Tom Paciorek climaxed a four-run rally in the seventh inning that enabled the unbeaten White Sox to edge the Red Sox, 5-4. Chicago trailed, 4-1, when Ron LeFlore stroked a one-out single and went to third on a double by Tony Bernazard. Greg Luzinski got an infield hit that scored LeFlore.
