Going the distance for the second time in as many starts, Charlie Hough spaced seven hits in hurling the Rangers to a 4-1 triumph over the Yankees. Texas tallied three times in the first inning on RBI singles by Larry Parrish and Jim Sundberg and a sacrifice fly by Mike Richardt. The Rangers snapped their three-game losing skein.
