. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Driving in three runs with a homer and double, Andre Thornton paced the Indians to a 9-4 victory over the Rangers. The Tribe struck for six runs in the fourth frame after Texas starter Charlie Hough had retired the first 10 batters of the game. The key hits of the big inning were an RBI double by Thornton and two-run singles by Bake McBride and Jerry Dybzinski. Thornton clouted a two-run homer in the fourth. [The Sporting News]
