The score was 3-3 when Eddie Milner opened the 10th with an infield hit, moved to third on a single by Ron Oester and scored on Dave Concepcion's sacrifice fly. The Reds had tied the game in the ninth on Mike Vail's two-run single after Astros second baseman Phil Garner mishandled a throw at second base on what appeared to be a double play.
