A two-run pinch-single by Rance Mulliniks climaxed a three-run rally in the seventh inning that lifted the Blue Jays to a 6-4 triumph over the Rangers, extending Texas' losing skein to six games. The Jays trailed, 4-3, when Buck Martinez hit a one-out single in the bottom of the seventh and was replaced by pinch-runner Hosken Powell, who raced to third on a single by John Mayberry and scored on a single by Alfredo Griffin. A single by Damaso Garcia loaded the bases and Mulliniks then came through with the decisive hit. [The Sporting News]
