Terry Kennedy hit a homer and drove in three runs as the Padres posted a 9-6 comeback victory over the Phillies. The Padres trailed, 6-3, in the fifth inning when Luis Salazar, Juan Bonilla and Garry Templeton each singled for one run and Ruppert Jones doubled in another.

Templeton scored on a passed ball and Kennedy singled home Jones for the final run of the inning and a 7-6 lead. Templeton stroked an RBI single in the sixth and Kennedy clouted a solo homer in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
