Scoring five runs in the seventh inning, the Royals held off the Blue Jays, 8-7. The game was tied, 3-3, when K.C. loaded the bases in the bottom of the seventh on singles by Cesar Geronimo and John Wathan and a walk to George Brett. A single by Amos Otis delivered two runs, a double by Hal McRae plated two more and a single by Onix Concepcion drove home the final runs of the outburst. [The Sporting News]
