Lloyd Moseby and Willie Upshaw each knocked in two runs as the Blue Jays posted a 7-5 triumph over the Royals. The Jays scored twice in the opening inning on Upshaw's single and a double by Al Woods.

They made it 4-0 in the fifth on Moseby's two-run double. Upshaw delivered his second RBI with a seventh-inning single. The Royals rallied for three runs in the ninth, but Roy Lee Jackson came on to get the last two outs and earn the save. [The Sporting News]
