. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run homer by Greg Luzinski climaxed a four-run sixth inning that carried the White Sox to a 4-3 decision over the Blue Jays. Bill Almon led off the Chicago sixth with a single, went to second when first baseman Willie Upshaw dropped an attempted pickoff throw and scored on a single by Ron LeFlore.

A single by Tony Bernazard sent LeFlore to third. Bernazard moved to second and LeFlore held third as Steve Kemp bounced out to the mound. Luzinski then drilled a 425-foot blast to provide the Sox with the winning margin. Salome Barojas pitched the final three innings to earn his seventh save. [The Sporting News]
