Bob Horner drove in two runs with a single and homer and four Atlanta pitchers combined on a three-hitter for a 3-0 triumph over the Cardinals. The Braves took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on a leadoff double by Dale Murphy and Horner's single. Horner increased the lead to 2-0 in the sixth with a one-out bases-empty blast over the left field wall. [The Sporting News]
