Jim Essian drove in four runs with a homer and single to pace the Mariners' 6-4 victory over the Indians. Essian blasted a two-run homer in the fifth and capped a three-run eighth with a two-run single. An infield single by Al Cowens drove in the first run of the eighth inning. [The Sporting News]
