Completing the three-game series sweep, the Royals defeated the Brewers, 9-7, despite three home runs by Milwaukee's Paul Molitor. Greg Pryor, filling in for the injured George Brett, tripled home the Royals' first run in the second inning and broke a 2-2 tie in the fourth with a two-run double.
