. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Bobby Grich delivered a two-out, tie-breaking single in the fifth inning and saved two runs with an outstanding fielding play in the seventh to lead the Angels to a 5-2 decision over the Indians. The fifth-inning single drove in Brian Downing, who was aboard via a double. In the Indians' seventh, with runners on second and third and two out, Grich went deep behind second base to grab Toby Harrah's grounder and threw him out at first. [The Sporting News]
