Two homers by Gorman Thomas enabled the Brewers to snap their four-game losing skein with a 2-1 triumph over the White Sox. Thomas' circuit clouts came in the second and fourth innings. Rollie Fingers notched his seventh save, taking over in the seventh stanza with a runner on third and two out and shutting down the Sox without a hit the rest of the way. [The Sporting News]
