Bob Horner went 4-for-4 and drove in three runs as the Braves routed the Expos, 9-1, giving Ken Dayley his first big league victory. Atlanta took a 2-0 lead in the second inning on Chris Chambliss' single and a sacrifice fly by Bruce Benedict. Dale Murphy blasted a solo homer in the fourth, Horner doubled home two runs to cap a four-run fifth inning and added a run-scoring single in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
