David Palmer, making his first big league start since 1980, gave up only two hits in six innings and Andre Dawson drove in four runs with two homers and a double to lead the Expos to their fifth straight victory, 6-1 over the Astros. Montreal took the lead in the second inning on a two-run homer by Gary Carter. Dawson homered in the third and eighth and cracked a two-run double in the ninth.
