Rallying with two out in the ninth inning, the Mariners edged the Red Sox, 2-1. Seattle trailed, 1-0, when Bobby Brown led off the bottom of the ninth with a walk. Two outs later, Richie Zisk drilled a double to right-center that tied the game at 1-1. Mark Clear then replaced John Tudor as the Bosox' pitcher. Lenny Randle went in to run for Zisk and scored the winning run when Gary Gray drove a long double to left. [The Sporting News]
