. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Los Angeles trailed, 3-2, when Ron Roenicke opened the ninth inning with a pinch-single and was forced at second by Bill Russell. Rick Monday followed with a pinch-single and Steve Sax clouted a three-bagger to deep center to plate Russell and Monday before Sax scored on a sacrifice fly by Ken Landreaux as the Dodgers struck for three runs for a 5-3 triumph over the Cardinals.
