A late fourth-period TD by George Nock, his second in the game, gave the Jets their first victory of the season after they had trailed most of the way. Nock's second TD was set up by a punt which touched a Miami receiver and was recovered by New York. Miami scored all its points in the opening five minutes, with an interception by Tim Foley setting up the TD.
