The Cowboys defense, which had allowed 100 points in its previous four games, got together and permitted Philadelphia a single touchdown -- the Eagles' first in 15 periods -- and only 126 yards total offense. Dallas defenders sacked Philadelphia passers nine times for losses of 79 yards and left the Eagles with a net passing gain of six yards. Calvin Hill rushed for 100 yards for Dallas. The Cowboys were handed a pair of safeties when the Philadelphia center twice snapped the ball poorly into the end zone in punt formation.
