Greg Landry picked apart the New Orleans secondary for 11 completions in 15 pass attempts in the first half, including a pair of touchdowns, and Errol Mann booted field goals from the 35 and 33-yard lines as the Lions fired into a 20-0 lead and went on to victory. Cornerback Lem Barney had two interceptions for Detroit. Archie Manning and Danny Abramowicz combined for both of New Orleans' touchdowns.
