Terry Bradshaw broke a last quarter tie with two TD passes to John McMakin and Ron Shanklin after the Steelers' QB scored himself on a one-yard run in the third period. RB John Fuqua hit the 100-yard mark for the seventh time in his career and Lions' receiver Ron Jessie caught an 84-yard TD pass, the longest in the NFC in '73. It was the first time an AFC team had beaten Detroit in regular season play.
