Fran Tarkenton fired two TD passes and Bill Brown ran six yards on a draw play for the clincher as the Vikings lost an early lead but rallied to win. A goal-line stand made the Raiders settle for a third George Blanda FG and a 16-10 edge in the third period before Tarkenton led a drive climaxed by a TD pass to rookie RB Chuck Foreman. Linebacker Jeff Siemon recovered a fumble and Tarkenton scrambled 13 yards to set up Brown's score. The only Raiders' TD was a 63-yard punt return by George Atkinson.
