Leroy Kelly ran for his first two touchdowns of the season to climax drives that started when cornerback Ben Davis recovered Cincinnati fumbles. The victory was the Browns' sixth in seven games with the Bengals. Ken Brown gained 93 yards on 26 carries and Kelly 73 on 21 in a 216-yard Cleveland ground attack. Charlie Joiner of the Bengals suffered a broken collarbone in the first quarter. The game had been shifted to Cleveland because of the baseball playoffs.
