Ex-Charger John Hadl and ex-Eagle Harold Jackson teamed up with four TD passes in the first half but the Rams had to stave off a second-half Dallas rally to secure their fifth win in a row. Roger Staubach, sacked three times in the first half, threw two TD passes to Otto Stowe before Al Clark's interception ended the Cowboys final drive with 2:42 to play. Jackson caught seven for 238 yards, a Los Angeles Rams' record, although Jim Benton gained 303 yards with passes in 1945 when the Rams played in Cleveland.
